Howard Posner, MD is one of the nation’s foremost authorities in Complementary Medicine and Alternative Healing Techniques. He completed specialty training in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Posner was Chief of Infectious Disease 1972-77. His fields of expertise include herbal and vitamin therapy, homeopathy, and the comprehensive treatment of tick-borne illnesses.
Dr. Posner was Medical Director of the Peace Corps/WHO Smallpox vaccination Campaign in West Africa from 1966 through 1968. He received the Distinguished Service to Humanity Award from the President of Niger for administering over one million vaccinations against Smallpox, Yellow Fever, Measles and Tuberculosis.
As a dedicated and inspiring teacher, Dr. Posner was a visiting professor at Swarthmore College for three years, Goucher College in 1999 and Haverford College through the present. He has given over 250 seminars worldwide on a variety of subjects ranging from holistic health and healing, to eastern mysticism. Dr. Posner has been practicing Complementary Medicine since 1972 and is now located in Bala Cynwyd, PA, outside of Philadelphia.
