Rachel Miller is the owner and founder of Empower Physical Therapy in October 2005. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2000.
After being in orthopaedic physical therapy for under a year Rachel wanted to focus on more alternative practices in physical therapy that allowed her to spend quality time with one patient at a time. This quest led her to begin taking classes through the Institute of Physical Art (institute of physicalart.com) in 2001. She underwent the Institute's intense testing program in August 2005 and is currently the only Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) in Pennsylvania. Rachel is also an instructor for the advances courses of this well renowned Institute.
Rachel's focus is on treatments to aid in the rehabilitation of women's health and Lyme Disease in this area.
